Data we collect

How we store and protect data

Data is held on a secured server and persisted in a MariaDB database. Passwords are never stored in plain text; authentication tokens and sensitive fields are protected with encryption in transit and at rest. Access is restricted to authorized staff of the facilitation desk and the responsible government department.

Retention

We retain records of tickets and resolutions for as long as needed to deliver the service, meet audit obligations and comply with government record-keeping requirements. Identifiable personal information (PII) is kept no longer than necessary for these purposes.

Sharing

Your ticket details are shared with the specific government department handling your request, and with the MAAHIR facilitation staff who coordinate it. We do not sell your data. Anonymized, aggregate statistics may be published on the transparency dashboard.

Cookies

We use a minimal set of cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember your language preference. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Right to information

This policy is aligned with the Sindh Transparency and Right to Information Act, 2016, which gives citizens the right to request information held by public bodies. You may submit such requests through this portal.
